SKH het Spectrum | DCC | OSC

“At SKH het Spectrum, every child is allowed to shine!”

SKH het Spectrum is an institution in the Kersenboogerd. Thanks to the good co-operation with primary school Het Spectrum, we are well on our way to become a child center where upbringing, education, playful learning and supervision flow seamlessly into one another. SKH het Spectrum offers child care to children aged 0-12 years old. It consists of one DCC group and three OSC groups for children of primary school het Spectrum. The location is near football club De Blokkers and the Willem Wiesepark.

Playing indoors
SKH het Spectrum is an atmospheric location that is equipped with many playing options. The DCC group is situated on the ground floor. It is a light, spacious group where children are challenged to play and to learn playfully. In the homely groups we welcome the OSC children after school with tea and cookies. We try to create a cozy atmosphere together, in which all children feel at home and at ease. With enough time, space and attention for the individual child and for the group, together with child care workers who form a good team, not only the children say that they feel at home, but the parents do so too. With a spacious gym hall there is enough room for moving around and for playing.

Playing outdoors
Outdoors, we have a large schoolyard at our disposal where the children can play delightfully. There is various playing equipment and enough playing material available with which the children are free to enjoy themselves. The sports activities also make playing outdoors a fun event for every child.

OSC on Wednesdays, Fridays and during school holidays
Wednesdays and Fridays, the children of the locations SKH de Kameleon go from school to SKH het Spectrum. During the holidays, the children from SKH de Kameleon as well as from SKH Do Re Mi join in comfortably. This is how we can still offer a fun activities program on quieter days, suited to the children’s varying ages.

One of the OSC groups uses the annex of the school across the street (Breitnerhof 220). The children of this group go there after school to eat and drink pleasantly. Afterwards, there will be activities on offer inside the school and in its vicinity, while all the OSC groups play together.
